Curricular Features


At Sec 1, students are equipped with 21st Century Competencies through the ELECT (Empowering Learners for the 21st Century) programme where Info Literacy skills, Communication and Collaboration skills as well as Critical and Inventive Thinking skills are explicitly taught. These skills will be applied as students work in collaborative groups in different subjects.

In line with the four-year Values in Action Curriculum, Sec 1 students are exposed to community issues as they go on learning journeys to various charitable organisations.

At Sec 2 level, students embark on Community Problem Solving (CmPS) projects as they work collaboratively in groups to research a real life community issue under three broad themes:

 At the end of Term 3, students showcase their class CmPS projects during the Project Work Festival.
